Taiwan Trip April 2012 - Flying high above the clouds. It’s the first time that I’ve travelled outside of Korea since I came here in August. The little panda bear is my travel buddy, and birthday present that I made for the boyfriend.

Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival April 7, 2012 Part 1
This past weekend I found myself travelling towards Jinhae for their annual Cherry Blossom Festival. From Gwangyang, I headed over to Busan early in the morning in order to meet up with my co-teacher, Jiseok. Busan’s bus terminal was incredibly busy, overwhelmed with people all trying to make their way towards Jinhae for the festival. Thanks to Jinseok, we took an alternate route to Jinhae. Of course, the festival itself was buzzing with tons of people as well.
Although the flowers weren’t in full bloom, we had a great time roaming around the streets of Jinhae and taking photos. Our first destination was the observation tower, which overlooked the town of Jinhae. Afterwards, we met up with his cousin and her friend and headed over towards the stream, which was lined with Cherry Blossom Trees.
March 18~19, 2012 Birthday Treats. He’s back from Japan with presents :D:D:D But, I’m happier that I get to see him for a whole week before he heads off to Taiwan~ Random photos from the past few days: socks (for him), Busan airport, Japanese snacks and other goodies! Green tea kit kat?! Hells yes! They’re so good ^_____^ Extra presents from my co-teacher (aroma diffuser), and a special little gift from Asako^^ Thank you~~~!!
Randomness while travelling between Busan, Gwangyang, and Daegu. Finally found decent poutine in Busan when we came back from Jeju (thank you NY Fries! Reminded me of home). My students gave me a lot of chocolate for valentines day, and the boyfriend also prepared a little something for me, prior to me arriving home^^. Utilized the new storage space that we have in the classroom, and made everything look pretty. Editing all my photos from our trip to Jeju. Lots of travelling back and forth between Gwangyang and Daegu, spending time with the boyfriend, even with his hectic schedule (due to orientation). Free desserts at Full House, plus my random drawings, and more cafes.
Jeju Trip February 11, 2012
Day 6: Up in the air. Unfortunately our week in Jeju went by very quickly, and soon enough, we’ve found ourselves flying back to Busan. We had a ton of fun during our time there, and I’m really glad that we got to do and see as much as we did. It was an amazing trip, full of adventure, and leaving us wanting for more. This is definitely not the last time. I’m sure we’ll be back here in the near future. After all, we still have to climb up Hallasan^^ Until next time, Jeju!
Jeju Trip February 6, 2012
From Gwangyang, to Busan, and onwards to Jeju.
We’re finally going to Jeju!!
An old video I stumbled upon a while back. Just another awesome reminder of how beautiful this country is, and what is out there to see and do.
