Taiwan Trip April 2012 - Flying high above the clouds. It’s the first time that I’ve travelled outside of Korea since I came here in August. The little panda bear is my travel buddy, and birthday present that I made for the boyfriend.

to one of the most awesomest people that I’ve been lucky enough to meet during such an eventful time in my life. I still feel really sad that I couldn’t stay in Taiwan to celebrate your birthday on your actual birthday, but I had an amazing time with you for the few days that I was there with you. Thank you so much for everything—for being a source of strength and support, for always teaching me something new, for opening up my eyes to new experiences, for challenging me even when I’m being stubborn. Thank you for always being you. I hope your time in Taiwan will be filled with many more new experiences, adventures, and learning opportunities. Take it all in. Embrace it. Record it. Look back on it. Enjoy it. I miss you, and I’ll see you again real soon. To an amazing person and boyfriend, happy birthday <3
But I’ll blog about it later with photos.
Heading back to Toronto on the 29th of July. Part of me doesn’t want to leave Korea, but I know it’s time to head back. To my friends back home, see ya’ll again at the end of July/early August! ^^
I think I’ll be checking out the Yeosu Expo next month. My co-teacher invited me to go there with him. He’ll be volunteering at the Expo. I have another friend who will be working there as well. It should be fun. When he finishes volunteering, we’ll take a mini tour around Yeosu, since he says there are many places he wants me to see. I guess that’s one thing to look forward to next month. Also, I’ll be participating in a radio show in the first weekend in May. It’ll take place in Gwangju, and it’ll be me and a bunch of others from the TaLK program on the show to describe our experience thus far. Should be exciting, since I’ve never been on a radio show before. Then at the end of May I’ll be Jeju bound. That, I’m really looking forward to. It’ll be exciting to see some of my 7th gen friends again, plus meet the rest of the 8th gens who I didn’t really have a chance to meet the first time. May should be pretty eventful.
I guess I should pack, clean my room, read my book, and catch up on dramas. Keep myself busy like this, since it’ll rain the whole weekend. 다음 주말에 대만에 있을건데 거기에 재미있을거야? 재미있을거 같지만 it’s going to be so different. I’m looking forward to it though. Temporary new environment. Hopefully I’ll be able to see and do many things while I’m there.
